Noordhoek, South Africa—The Young Leaders League (Y2L) and Leadership & Development Studies (LADS) are excited to celebrate an important milestone: Laerskool Noordhoek officially taught its first Leadership and Development Studies (LADS) lesson in late March and early April 2026.

The teacher training equipped 10 Laerskool Noordhoek teachers with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively facilitate the LADS curriculum. The training was led by Dr Laura Mautsa, Lloyd Mautsa, and four South African facilitators, whose collaboration reflected a shared commitment to leadership development. A partnership with The Navigators South Africa made this initiative possible, and their support has been instrumental in expanding LADS’s reach across the region.

This first lesson begins an exciting journey for educators and learners alike as they engage with a curriculum designed to nurture character, leadership, values, and personal growth in the next generation.

We look forward to seeing the program’s impact unfold and to sharing the stories of growth that follow.
